Classified Position Information

Classified vacancies refer to those positions within the district that do not require North Carolina teacher licensure and are paid on the GCS Master Salary Schedule. Classified employment includes, but is not limited to the following:

ACES Site Coordinator
Teacher Assistant
Bus Driver
Safety Assistant
Occupational Therapist
Physical Therapist
Office Support
Maintenance

TEACHER ASSISTANTS are required to have an Associates Degree or higher or 48 semester hours of college coursework with a minimum 2.0 GPA to be eligible for hire.
