What steps must I complete to be considered for employment with Guilford County Schools?
For licensed teaching positions, please complete an online application. Once your online application has been processed, you will be sent an e-mail providing further instructions regarding required documentation.

For licensed administrative positions, please complete an online application. Once your application has been processed and your credentials reviewed, you will receive an e-mail providing further instruction in the event that further steps are required.

For classified positions, please complete an online application. If you are applying for a position that requires college transcripts, you will be sent an e-mail requesting that your transcripts be submitted to our office for your application to be fully processed.

For substitute positions, please complete an online application. Once your application has been submitted, please submit a copy of your college transcripts as well as the health certificate and criminal records check form that is available here.

How do I determine what I am eligible to teach?
If you are unsure if you are eligible to teach the subject or grade level that you would like to teach, please attend a lateral entry information session for more information about licensure requirements. Session dates are listed at here.

Where are job vacancies posted?
All job vacancies are posted online here. If there are no positions posted in the area for which you are searching, that means that there are currently no vacant positions in that particular area. Please check the site frequently for the most current list of vacancies.

I forgot my username and password. How can I retrieve it?
If you need information about your username and password to log in to your online application, please call the NC Department of Public Instruction in Raleigh at 919-807-4357.
