Pre-K Application 2009-10

Prekindergarten Applications accepted April 27, 2009 - April 30, 2010

You are encouraged to apply at any time if you want to have your child screened for eligibility. Guilford County Schools offers placement to eligible children when vacancies occur throughout the school year. Your child must be four years old on or before August 31, 2009 and not kindergarten age eligible.

Pre-K applications for screening appointments will be available and accepted beginning February 7 at the GCS Magnet Fair. Beginning February 9 applications will be available at district offices and elementary schools, the GCS webpage (Pre-K Application 2009-10 Link)(Pre-K Application 2009-10 Spanish), Guilford County's health and social services departments, and at various community partner locations including Guilford Child Development and Guilford Partnership for Children.

Applications should be returned to the PreK office beginning February 9 by fax, by US mail or may be delivered. There is a convenient drop slot in the PreK parking lot for after business hours drop off.  The PreK office is located at 617 West Market Street, Greensboro, NC, in the GCS Family Resource Center.

To be assigned a screening appointment you must return your application to the GCS Pre-K office by the April 24, 2009 deadline.
