RE:	Proposed 2007-08 Early/Middle College Calendars

Proposed 2007-08 Early/Middle College calendars are attached for your review and approval. These calendars were developed based on the respective college/university school year calendar and included input from each school’s Leadership Team and/or staff.

Please be reminded that the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has indicated that hence forward, the academic calendar waiver cycle for Early/Middle Colleges will follow the School Improvement Plan three-year cycle; so that, approved waivers will be effective through June 30, 2009.

RECOMMENDATION: The administration recommends that the board approve these Early/Middle College calendars for the 2007-08 school year.
