Piedmont Triad Education Consortium Recognition –
Page High and Parkview Elementary

Page High and Parkview Elementary are the 2006 recipients of the Signature Schools Award, given by the Piedmont Triad Education Consortium.

A collaboration of 15 school district and 17 higher education agencies, the Piedmont Triad Education Consortium, honors schools which have experienced significant improvement in the past twelve months. Indicators that measure the schools’ improvement include:

  • Implementation of innovative practices
  • Documented increases in measurable outcomes
  • Positive change, which is widespread throughout the school
  • Committed staff and students
  • Improved overall teaching quality
  • Successful engagement of parents and community
