Arts Education Teacher of the Year

The Arts Educator of the Year award was announced at the Arts Council’s annual Vanguard Society Celebration on October 10, 2006. The award is organized and sponsored by the United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro, Kindermusik International, Inc. and Guilford County Schools (though private school arts educators are eligible).

The winner will receive $1,000 toward professional development. Two runners-up will each receive $300 for professional development. March is designated as “Youth Art Month” for visual arts and “Music in Our Schools” month.
