North Carolina Association of Education Office Professional’s
Administrator of the Year

Marilyn Woods, a GCS program administrator for After-School Care Enrichment Services (ACES), has been named the North Carolina Administrator of the Year by the North Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals (NCAEOP).

Woods was nominated for the award based on her service in a wide range of leadership positions at the local, district and state level during her more than 25 years of active membership in NCAEOP, her tireless efforts and hard work on behalf of office personnel and her high regard and care for school and centrally based office support staff members. As ACES program administrator, Woods is responsible for the accounting and business portion of the ACES program. This dedicated employee provides technical support, guidance and training to the ACES directors in 62 elementary schools.
