Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE) Outstanding Exceptional Children Director

Betty Ann Chandler, executive director for Exceptional Children (EC) and Psychological Services, was named North Carolina CASE 2008 Outstanding EC Director by the Central Region of Administrators. 

Betty Ann has been an educator in Guilford County since 1975. As executive director, she provides oversight and monitors all programs and budget for special education for nearly 11,000 students with disabilities and more than 1,600 employees in the district.
