2007 Project Fit America All Star Teacher of the Year |
|
This award was created in 1999 in an effort to showcase exceptional teachers and to share their new ideas with other Project Fit America teachers across the country. In 2007, a total of nine outstanding teachers were selected for this award nationally. Sara Kenney, elementary physical education specialist at Claxton Elementary, is recognized for her spirit, energy, dedication and commitment that make her a world-class teacher. She is an advocate and role model for students and peers alike. For these reasons, Sara is the 2007 Project Fit America All Star Teacher of the Year.
