Haberman Study Update

The Guilford County School District has reviewed and evaluated its district level screening process.  The current model includes an on-line and interview screening, both developed by Martin Haberman.  The district interview is conducted by teams of two trained principals.

As a result of the evaluation, and in collaboration with a project team of principals, the attached document reflects the plan for district wide screening and interviewing during the 2008-09 school year.   This plan addresses the need for additional training, the use of optional forms, and the adjustment of interview schedules for administrators.  Further, it advances the need to pilot an additional model for future use.
