RE:	Contractual Agreement with New Atlantic Company for Pre-Construction Services at Jamestown Middle School

New Atlantic Company was one of four firms recommended by the Architectural Selection Committee on July 15, 2008 to provide CM @ Risk Services for the Jamestown Middle School project. Staff received approval from the Board on July 24, 2008 to negotiate contract terms with New Atlantic Construction to provide pre-construction services. Staff has successfully completed negotiations and Board approval is now requested for New Atlantic Company to provide pre-construction services to the Jamestown Middle School project in exchange for the lump sum payment of $130,000.

RECOMMENDATION: The administration recommends awarding a contract to New Atlantic Company for Pre-Construction services at the Jamestown Middle School project in the amount of $130,000.
