RE:	2008-09 Budget Resolution

The 2008-09 budget resolution is attached.

This document reflects:

planning allotments for state and federal funds;
current projections for child nutrition and After School Care Enrichment Services (ACES) funding;
a county appropriation to the Local Current Expense Fund of $175,165,521 (which represents a $10M increase in county appropriation funding); and
appropriations to the Capital Outlay Fund of $4,291,861 in Public School Building Capital Funds (PSBCF) and $7,000,000 in county appropriations.

RECOMMENDATION: I recommend approval of the 2008-09 Budget Resolution.
