RE:	Second Reading – Policy JHB, Gang Prevention & Education

At its meeting on July 8, 2008, the board approved for first reading Policy JHB, Gang Prevention & Education. This policy was posted on the district Web site for a public comment period per the board’s policy. An additional public comment period was requested and approved at the August 12 meeting. The additional comment period was extended to August 26. As of this date, no additional comments have been received.

RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends the Board adopt Policy JHB, Gang Prevention & Education.
