RE:

Second Reading – Policy JCDB, Student Dress Code

At its meeting on January 13, 2009, the board approved for first reading Policy JCDB, Student Dress Code. Subsequently the policy was posted for public comment and resubmitted to the board for second reading on February 26, 2009. At that meeting the board remanded the policy to the Governance Committee for additional review and changes.

The Governance Committee met on March 12, 2009 and has made adjustments to Policy JCDB, Student Dress Code. Those adjustments are reflected in the attachment as un-bolded in red.

RECOMMENDATION:  The administration recommends the board adopt Policy JCDB, Student Dress Code.
