RE:	Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting

The Financial Services Department received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association for the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2008. This certificate is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting.

The comprehensive annual financial report was judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program including demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial story and motivate potential groups to read the report.
