Per Pupil Expenditure Reports

The attached reports provide individual school per pupil expenditure information based on audited 2008-09 expenditures. The reports are formatted similar to annual Equity Reports produced by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system and are provided for information/reference purposes. As indicated in the notes accompanying the reports, there are a number of factors that impact individual school level per pupil expenditures; therefore, readers are urged to keep these factors in mind when reviewing the reports.

A Per Pupil Expenditure Question and Answer (Q&A) document is also attached as well as teacher statistics by site prepared by Human Resources (HR). The teacher statistics data is a snapshot generated annually by HR each November in conjunction with required state and federal reports.

We shared the reports with principals in December and afforded them an opportunity for feedback/questions. It is our intention to post these reports and accompanying documents on the district’s Web site following your review.
