Northern High

Construction is moving quickly at Northern High. Set to open in January 2008, masonry and stud walls are 90 percent complete. Drywall and roofing are being installed while plumbing, HVAC, electrical and sprinkler work continues. When complete, the classroom capacity will hold 1,210 students, but further classroom space can be finished if needed at a later date to increase the capacity to 1,600 students thus negating the probability of mobile units on the campus at a later time. The athletic facilities are under construction, including a stadium with seating for 4,000.
