Business Technologies Curriculum
Highlights
Business Technology is a rapidly growing field with a variety of career opportunities and is highly dependent on people who have both specialized financial knowledge and excellent human relations skills.
Students interested in this program must complete the math, science, and English course requirements and either Computer Applications I and II, or Computerized Accounting I and II.
During the Spring of their Junior year, students may apply for an optional apprenticeship opportunity and may work in a local bank or financial institution. After graduation, they may enroll in an associate degree program or a four year university to continue their education.
Career opportunities in Business Technologies include Bank Tellers, Customer Service, insurance, real estate, accounting and financial planning. Most of these require an associate degree with average salaries around $25,000.00.
