NGHS PATH CLUB: Providing Assistance To Heroes

Mud PATH Challenge Supports Heroes

Northern Guilfords PATH Club (Providing Assistance to Heroes) hosted the first annual Mud Path Challenge Fundraiser at Spears YMCA on Friday, October 12. The challenge consisted of a fun, mud run type obstacle course. Ten students, under the direction of English teacher Madison Hester, raised $646. A portion of the funds raised will be used to purchase food to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for the firefighters on duty Thanksgiving Day at the Spencer Dixon Road fire station. The remaining money will be used to purchase blankets for wounded soldiers and to cover postage to ship books collected during a book drive to Operation Paperback. Click here for pictures.
