Technology Fair

A sense of excitement fills the air as summer approaches our campus, and to most people the assumption would be that students are ready to be out of school. However, the excitement is about the annual Technology Fair! As EOGs are completed and students are wondering what the last weeks of school will hold for them, a very special day is planned.The Tech Fair is designed to carry the students far into their own imaginations and the world of "what could be" by allowing them the opportunity to explore first hand ways in which technology is being utilized in our local and national communities. Various exhibitors, representing local and national companies, governmental agencies, non-profit organizations and educational agencies, gather to provide an exceptional on-campus field trip experience. Students can dialogue about the speakers' use of technology in their careers, home and recreation. Students are also provided with a list of related topics, which they can use as a reading list over their summer vacation.This special opportunity is designed to motivate students to dream about future career opportunities, but more importantly to understand the necessity to devote themselves to their academic studies in order to pursue those career choices. This event is open to the local community and we encourage families and organizations to assist with this special day.
