The "Find-a-Book" Web site--

www.lexile.com/findabook

is a fun and easy way to find books at a student's Lexile (reading) level.  Students and parents can use this free online tool to build custom reading lists of books on the subjects that interest them. Just follow these five simple steps:

1.  Go to www.lexile.com/findabook

2.  Enter a Lexile measure

(This measure is found on the students' Scholastic Reading Inventory Parent Report or on Reading end-of-grade test results.)

3.  Pick interest categories

4.  View/refine search results

5.  Print a custom reading list.

(A Lexile is a measure of a student's reading ability.  Lexiles do not address age-appropriateness, and individual's interests, or text quality.  The Lexile measure is a good starting point in picking a book.  To find out more, visit www.lexile.com  )
