6th Grade Exploratory French

Welcome to Southeast Middle School and 6th grade French!  The purpose of 6th grade electives is to explore different subject areas that may be of interest to the student.  This is a wonderful opportunity for students to experiment and decide what courses they would like to pursue in the future: arts, technology, languages, etc.

Sixth grade students who are not in band or chorus take a variety of electives.  Languages are part of their electives.  Students take French one semester and Spanish another.  Should they desire to continue their language studies, they can register for French or Spanish year-long courses in 7th grade.
