Math LEA Improvement Plan 

Community forums are scheduled for:

December 13 from 6-7 pm at Falkener Elementary 

December 15 from 6-7 pm at Florence Elementary . 

·   2 copies of the LEA Improvement Draft have arrived at Union Hill Elementary.

· These documents have been placed in the office with the sign-in sheets and comment cards so that community and staff members can review and comment on the draft plan.   

·  The plan and sign in sheets will be returned to GCS Title I Office on  January 5, 2012.

· This information will document that community and school members were provided the opportunity to review the plan and offer additional comments. 

There are other opportunities for community and school members to provide input.  The plan will also be available on the GCS webpage http://www.gcsnc.com/education/components/scrapbook/default.php?sectiondetailid=329163&

 There is also an option to send an email with feedback.  

Another opportunity for input will be at the community forums that are scheduled for:
December 13 from 6-7 pm at Falkener Elementary
December 15 from 6-7 pm at Florence Elementary

Once additional feedback is collected through email, phone calls, returned comment cards and community forms, it will be reviewed and the draft plan will be modified if the suggestions  strengthen the plan that addresses professional development needs of all district teachers.
