April 3, 2012	Superintendent presents his recommended 2012-13 budget and budget message to the Board of Education (BOE).
April 4-24, 2012	BOE schedules additional budget work sessions, if / as needed, during this timeframe.
April 24, 2012 (at 11:30 am)	BOE has budget work session to review the Superintendent's 2012-13 budget request.
April 26, 2012	BOE conducts a public hearing on the Superintendent's 2012-13 budget request.
April 27-30, 2012	BOE schedules additional budget work sessions, if / as needed, during this timeframe.
May 1 - 4, 2012	BOE schedules additional budget work sessions, if / as needed, during this timeframe.
May 8, 2012	BOE addopts a 2012-13 budget.
May 15, 2012	Statutory deadline for the BOE to submit their 2012-13 budget request to Board of County Commissioners (BOCC).
Late May - Early June	County Manager presents her 2012-13 budget to the BOCC.
June (TBD)	BOCC has work session(s) to review 2012-13 budget requests.
June (TBD)	BOCC conducts public hearing(s) on the 2012-13 budget requests.
Late June 2012	BOE adopts an Interim Budget Resolution for 2012-13, if needed.
On or before July 1, 2012	Statutory deadline for BOCC to adopt a 2012-13 Budget Ordinance.
TBD	North Carolina (NC) General Assembly adopts a 2012-13 budget.
TBD	NC Department of Public Instruction finalizes state allotments/funding for 2012-13.
