 Cool to Serve rewards those students who have embraced GCS’ service-learning program. All students who earn the service-learning exemplary award and service-learning diploma are invited to attend this event. All students have the opportunity to win high-tech raffle prizes, but only those who earn the service-learning diploma will have the chance to win a new car.
The inaugural Cool to Serve event celebrated students from the Class of 2012. More than 800 graduates were eligible to attend the event, which was held on June 24, 2012 at the Showplace in High Point. The 2012 event was sponsored by Businesses for Excellence in Education and Vann York Auto Group.
