![]() ACES QUALITY AFTER-SCHOOL CARE FOR $46 PER WEEK and a $15.00 Registration fee. |
The Guilford County Schools ACES Program provides quality, affordable and convenient after-school care. All-day care is provided on many teacher workdays. ACES is the place at Guilford Elementary School where kindergarten through fifth grade students can study and play with school friends in a nurturing, fun and organized environment. ACES provides a quiet, study hall atmosphere in which students can work on homework and study with the aid of their group leader or volunteer. ACES recreational activities include organized indoor and outdoor games, computer activities, board and table games, arts and crafts and many other fun activities. Children also participate in supervised, free play each day. On ACES All-Days children may go on fun, field trips or participate in special events at the school. At many schools, parents may use their DSS child care vouchers to pay the ACES fee. Parents should contact the ACES director for DSS voucher information. Included in the ACES fee: On school days your child will come to ACES at 2:30 p.m., and must be picked up no later than 6 p.m. On All-Days your child may arrive at 7:30 a.m., and must be picked up no later than 6 p.m. Please feel free to contact ACES Director Ginger Hardy by calling the ACES office at 336-316-5023 or the ACES cell phone 336-312-9570. |
