RE:Second Reading – Policy GAMA, Staff Harassment, Bullying, and Discrimination Free Environment
At its July 13, 2010 meeting, the Board of Education approved for first reading Policy GAMA, Staff Harassment, Bullying, and Discrimination Free Environment. The policy and procedure were posted on the district Web site for the 21-day public comment period.
As part of our process and to encourage a productive dialogue within the community, the Board of Education received feedback from interested individuals until August 3, 2010.
Only three comments were received on the policy or procedure. One comment offered additional suggestions. None of the comments were in opposition to the policy and its procedure.
RECOMMENDATION: The Administration recommends the Board adopt Policy GAMA, Staff Harassment, Bullying, and Discrimination Free Environment.
