Greensboro College Middle College students have spent the past year in partnership with Outward Bound, and on Friday, members of the community can observe what they've learned.

North Carolina Outward Bound School (NCOBS) will be conducting a Peer Leadership Day with Greensboro College Middle College from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Country Lake Park.

From 11 to 11:45 a.m., students will demonstrate the activities they are completing with Outward Bound.  Outward Bound staff will then present the various programs they can offer local high schools, followed by a cook-out with students and Outward Bound staff.

Outward Bound is designed to "inspire people to discover and develop their potential to care for themselves, others and the world around them through challenging experiences in unfamiliar settings." Students participated in activities with Outward Bound throughout the year, and several of them participated in an eight-day wilderness leadership course this summer.
