Maintenance Employees Recognized for Service

Members of the GCS Maintenance Department were recently recognized for their excellent work during the department's annual Thanksgiving luncheon. More than 30 employees received recognitions ranging from outstanding employee by trade to the "many hats" and "budget smart" awards. 

 

The following maintenance employees were selected by their peers for awards in their respective trades:

  • Plumbing - Timothy Hall, Steve Vaughn
  • Heavy Equipment - Steve Fields
  • Food Service - Richard Spurlin
  • Carpentry - Wesley Combs, Alton Miller
  • Painting/Roofing - Jonathan Pegues, Johns Sowers
  • Grounds - Gene Sizemore, Todd Greeson
  • Custodial - Laverne Ingram, Chris Shaffer
  • Telecommunications - Jason King, Frank Harrelson
  • Electrical - Jerry Lunsford, Tony Ruffalo
  • HVAC - Keith Roberts, Jimmy Russell, Steve Wolfe

The following employees also received awards:

  • Shelly Knight - Budget Smart Award
  • Ernest King - Honesty, Integrity, Dedicated Service Award
  • Carl Jobe - Unique Abilities Award
  • Rick Proctor - Many Hats Award
  • Max Andrews - Job Well Done Award
  • Monica England - Best Phone Manners and Most Helpful Award
  • Brant Friddle - Veteran Award (for 27 years of service)
  • Jamie Wagoner - Rookie Award
  • Charles Lovelace - Recognized as the sharpest dresser of the group and for staying late to make sure work is completed
  • Jeff Tilley - Recognized for being dedicated and well respected by his peers for his knowledge in AV/ Telecommunications
  • Phil Fulton - Recognized for being available at any time of the day or night
  • Brian Danley - Recognized for the service he provides to the Cafeteria team
  • Larry O'Dell - Recognized for his service through the years in the Plumbing Department
  • Aldine Clinard - Recognized for his willingness to help other departments

The Maintenance Department also recognized all of its administrative assistants and foremen for their dedication and hard work for GCS.
