Ramona Flint – Exceptional Children
Ramona Flint earned an undergraduate degree from Greensboro College with three specialty areas, plus a minor in English. She began teaching in the Guilford County School system twenty-five years ago and has taught at every grade level and every subject. Along the way, Ms. Flint also added licensure to teach the Academically Gifted population. Since then, she earned her M.Ed. in Cross-Categorical from UNC at Greensboro. Ms. Flint is a National Board Certified Teacher; she is also considered a highly qualified teacher in all of her licensure areas based on North Carolina standards. Ms. Flint took about six years off to homeschool her children, and re-entered teaching via a couple of years at a private school. She is now happy to be assisting learners throughout Weaver Academy in the Performing and Visual Arts areas, as well as the Career and Technical fields.
