What Is Roadmap 2 Reading?
Reading can take you places you've never been before. In the case of Guilford County Schools (GCS), it will take students on a coast-to-coast journey from Cape Hatteras to San Francisco.
GCS announced its newest literacy initiative, Roadmap 2 Reading . All GCS students will be challenged to read 20 minutes per day outside of their classroom work and record their minutes. Those minutes will be counted as miles as students record their progress across the country.
