Mission Possible

Mission Possible is a comprehensive teacher incentive program that combines multiple components to recruit, retain and reward highly effective teachers for the ultimate goal of increasing student achievement in schools with critical needs. Our Mission Possible program enables us to help create better teachers and better schools. The success of our program thus far comes directly from the resources that we pour into our staff. We believe in our program and we have teachers and staff that follow us in the mission possible vision.

We stand firm that our progress during the 2011 – 2012 school year will surpass our success from years past. We believe Mission Possible schools will result in more teachers receiving bonuses and that the teacher turnover rate in Mission Possible Schools will be significantly lower than the district wide.
In our Mission Possible schools, we continue to have a strong sense of hope as we strive to help create and maintain better schools and better teachers.

"We know that from the moment students enter a school, the most important factor in their success is not the color of their skin or the income of their parents—it is the teacher standing at the front of the classroom," says Arne Duncan, secretary of the U.S. Department of Education.

"An effective teacher for every child"
