Biography for Jesse J. Pratt


Jesse J. Pratt has been the Principal of James Benson Dudley High School since July 2008.

Mr. Pratt previously served the district as Principal of the Middle College at NC A&T State University and Allen Middle School. Before Mr. Pratt was a principal, he served Guilford County Schools as a sixth grade teacher and an administrative intern. Also, he served the Winston Salem/Forsyth County Schools as an Assistant Principal. In 2012, Mr. Pratt was named the 2011-2012 Secondary School Principal of the Year for Guilford County Schools.

Mr. Pratt received his undergraduate degree in Middle School Education from Appalachian State University. He later received certification for the Academically Gifted from High Point University. He returned to his alma mater, Appalachian State University, where he received his Master of School Administration and Education Specialist degrees.

Mr. Pratt is a native of High Point, NC and a graduate of High Point Central High School.
