Medical Careers I investigates the health professions and related sciences. Topics include mental and dental terminology, communications, anatomy and physiology, diseases/disorders, treatments, and health professions. Skills in science, math, English, social studies, the arts, and health are reinforced in this course. Projects, teamwork, demonstrations and active participation in health related activities serve as instructional strategies that reinforce the curriculum content.
