Greetings! My name is Myranda Dorsey and I am the music educator at Oak Hill Elementary in High Point, NC for the 2012-2013 school year. I graduated form North Carolina A&T State University in May 2011 where I studied music education as a mezzo-soprano. I have had the pleasure of touring the east coast, singing with the University Choir under the direction of Maestro Travis Alexander, as well as performing for many elite guests as a vocalist in the University Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Mr.Mondre Moffett.

My goal here at Oak Hill is to educate every student I teach about music so that they are able to express themselves appropriately by becoming active listeners. Whether singing, playing instruments, or learning music theory, we all do our best so that our music sounds better!Your children will be "Soaring to New Heights" as we learn about music and the wonderful world thereof!
