Free Flu Shots are available for employees, spouses and children (ages 9-17) insured by the State Health Plan (our health insurance) or BlueCross Blue Shield of NC. Those not insured can pay $30 for the shots. Medicare Part B individuals do not have to pay.  Medical cards and Photo Identifications must be presented at clinics. Second Enrollment for Dental Insurance, Cafeteria Benefits and Pre-Paid Legal/Identity Theft Protection will be held October 27-31, in the PTA Room (712 N. Eugene St.), 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily.

Information Sessions on the Lateral Entry Teacher License Program and Seeking Employment as a Lateral Entry Teacher with Guilford County Schools will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 712 N. Eugene Street, Greensboro on the following dates:

October 22, 2008

December 10, 2008

November 5, 2008

January 14, 2009

No pre-registration is required.  A representative from Guilford County Schools’ Office of Employment will provide a review of the lateral entry program requirements and answer general questions concerning the application process for licensed employment
