GCS United Way Campaign Kicks Off With Days of Caring

GCS gave back to the community when senior staff members worked at Youth Focus for the Days of Caring event in conjunction with the United Way campaign kick-off. The group gave a much needed facelift to the house with paint and landscaping.

October officially kicks-off the United Way campaign. United Way funds many local agencies and nonprofit companies that could not exist without support from individuals and businesses. The 2007-08 co-chairs of the United Way campaign are Terry Grier, Superintendent; and Mark Jewel, President of Guilford County Association of Educators.

Please remember to give generously to this campaign by contributing your time, talent or your treasures.
