Magnet and Choice School Applications Due Friday

Applications for the district’s magnet and choice schools are due Friday, March 12 at 5 p.m. for the 2010-11 school year.
Guilford County Schools offers 50 magnet programs at 44 schools as options. Students can choose from 17 magnet themes, including International Baccalaureate, global studies, Montessori, science and technology and performing arts.
Applications for elementary and middle magnet schools must be turned in to the Student Assignment Office at 120 Franklin Blvd. in Greensboro. High school options applications must be submitted to the specific school. Applications received after Friday will be considered on a space-available basis.
