Dudley Step Team Wins $5,000 on BET

Dudley’s male step team, known as UMOJA, won $5,000 on national television Wednesday. The team competed on BET’s 106 & Park in a segment called “Wild-Out Wednesday.”
UMOJA competed against teams from New York and Alabama. The team got the chance to represent Guilford County on the show after winning a preliminary round in January.
The money earned will go toward travel, uniforms and scholarships for senior members.
