Northern High Ribbon Cutting Event - February 17, 2008

Guilford County Schools (GCS) has officially dedicated Northern High with a ribbon-cutting event. Guilford County Board of Education members, staff, project team members and Parent Teacher Association members were in attendance.

At the event, the board recognized the GCS Facilities Department for excellence exhibited in the successful completion of the 2003 school construction bond referendum initiatives.

The only new high school included in the 2003 bond, Northern utilizes green building features including a rainwater runoff system and natural daylighting. Attendees will have an opportunity to tour the brand new facility and celebrate in the growth of GCS.
