The Board and each of its members is committed to faithful compliance with the provisions of the Board's bylaws or policies. In the event of a member's willful and/or continuing violation of either a bylaw or policy, the Board will seek remedy by using one or more of the following options:
1. Conversation in a private setting between the offending member and the Board chairman or other individual member and/or the Board's attorney.
2. Discussion between the offending member and the full Board.
3. Public censure of the offending member of the Board; and/or
4. In appropriate circumstances, submission of a report to the State Board of Education pursuant to NCGS 115C-39.
