Achieving Education Excellence

Regional offices provide direct supervision of schools and supply schools and the community with customized and responsive support as needed. Parents can visit their school’s respective regional office to receive information about a number of topics. Essentially, it is a one-stop assistance with school operational services related to academics, discipline, transportation, facilities, finance, technology, health and safety and some elements of exceptional children services.

The regional office can provide facts and figures about each region and the schools within the region. Information about ACES, school field trips, advanced learning, exceptional children, school nutrition, magnet and choice schools and requests will also be available at each regional office. Parents can file grievances at this level.

Employees and future employees can contact a regional office to inquire about a region’s school vacancies, and will also turn in an application at that office. Employees can file school concerns at their regional office, also. If you want to receive information on lateral entry, licensure and benefits, please visit the human resources department on Eugene Street.
