Authors and Illustrators on the Web
The Children's Literature Web Guide to Authors and Illustrators on the Web is an alphabetized index of links to web resources for most children's writers and illustrators. The websites include the author's personal website plus sites that are maintained by others.

Bartlett's Familiar Quotations
The 10th edition of Barlett's Quotations contains a searchable database of over 11,000 quotations. Simply type a keyword and all quotes containing that word will appear. Click on the link to view the entire quote.

BJ Pinchbeck's Homework Helper English
This Discovery School site provides links to authors, novel guides, Spark Notes, poetry, literature and a glossary of literary terms. There are also links to assistance with writing citation and bibliographies.

The Blue Book of Grammar and Punctuation
The Blue Book of Grammar and Punctuation is an invaluable resource for writers to check the rules concerning proper grammar and punctuation.

English Errors
This resource helps writers understand the usage of commonly misused words.

SAT Vocabulary Preparation
Study flashcards to learn SAT vocabulary words.  Twenty separate lists of 250 words are accessible. Online quizzes are available to test your knowledge of the words, but users must register with the site to be able to log in.  Registration is free.
