Welcome to Ms. Alston's 1st grade class!

Just a little about me: I have been teaching for 17 years. This is my 5th year teaching at Montlieu. I graduated from UNC-Greensboro with my BS in Human Development and Family Studies. I also graduated from Capella University with my Master's in Reading and Literacy. 

Learning takes place in so many ways in the classroom. It is an adventure that we take everyday! I challenge each of my students to reach their highest potential.
