Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Brittany Roberts
My name is Brittany Roberts. I am a Winston-Salem native. I received my Bachelor's in Middle Grades Education from UNC-Charlotte and Master's in School from NC A&T. I've been passionate about education my entire life. I began my teaching career when I was in elementary school when I lined my dolls and stuffed animals up and taught them what I'd learned in school. I began my professional career in Wake County Public Schools, where I taught 7th ELA/SS and 6th ELA. I transitioned to Guilford County in 2016 where I taught 8th grade ELA. When I decided to pursure my degree in administration I wanted to have the experience in 5th grade, to see how rising 6th graders are prepared for middle school. In 2020 I graduated with my MSA and began my administrative career in 2021 here at Kiser.
My mission is to inspire every person I encounter to be the change in the world they want to see. I believe that all students can be successful; however, it is important that the student and the adults in their lives hold them accountable for their actions and academic success. This is a partnership, and it is important that we have clear communication on expectations and needs. My mission is to hold all students to a high standard and provide the need support to meet and exceed those standards. I believe that the adults have room to grow, learn from our students, and create a space where students are heard and seen. I am excited to be on this team as we transform learning and mindsets in order to create a better environment for all.
This is going to be an amazing year!
