Voting and the 2020 Bond
Greetings GCS families. On the November 3rd ballot, voters will be asked to consider two ballot items that relate directly to Guilford County Schools. The Nov. 3rd ballot includes a $300 million school bond issue and a quarter-cent, sales and use tax.

Virtual Party for Neutropenia
Our students have planned a virtual event for the student-group: Party for Neutropenia. The focus of this event is to have fun and bring awareness to the rare blood disorder, Neutropenia. Click the following link to register for the event!

Resource Distribution Drive-Thru - Wednesday, August 12 (8 am - 11 am)
Thank you for your patience while we have reviewed student responses to the survey, created stacks for all students who need a particular item, and organized the event to save time. Thank you for coming early so we can complete the event before the temperature rise.
If your son or daughter requested the use of laptop or calculator or is enrolled in any of the following high school classes, he/she/they should come to pick up supplies/resources for courses.
- English
- Math
- Biology
- Chemistry
Those who have requested a laptop will have additional information to complete. Please bring a pen so you can complete the information. If you are receiving a calculator, please plan to purchase AAA batteries for use.)
The Drive-thru event will be from 8 am – 11 am. Our staff will wear masks and gloves for your safety and theirs. We encourage you to do the same.
*ConnectED message will be go out 8/10 (1 pm & 7 pm), 8 /11 (7 pm), 8/12 (8 am).

Attention all spring graduates, The SECU People Helping People Scholarship application is available!
All information and directions are listed in both the 12th and 13th Grade Canvas Courses in the Scholarship Module. All application materials are due to Mrs. Kijania by end of day on 2/24/20.
