Welcome to Mr. Moss's class website!

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (Go Spartans!), where I received a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Social Studies licensure. During my time in the UNCG Teaching Fellows program, I was able to intern in many GCS schools but had the privilege of completing my student teaching at Ragsdale High School. This will be my 10th year at Ragsdale and I have been able to teach Civics and Economics, World History, US History,  American History II,  AP Human Geography, and AP Government and Politics.

Parents/Guardians can sign up to be an "Observer" in Canvas that allows them to see what students are working on online. 

School Supply Lists:

Students will be receiving chromebooks from the district, which can help students with research for class assignments and to use online resources. Students will still need to have access to paper/pencil for taking notes during lessons and submitting assignments.

Please note that there is no required summer work for AP World History Modern or for AP Human Geography.

The best way to prepare for these courses is to stay up to date on current events by reading or watching the news.  While AP is not a current events course, being aware of current issues will allow you to come to class ready to apply what is going on in your community - be it local, national, or global  - to the course. As a result, the course is made richer by you bringing your experiences and perspectives into the classroom.
