• Hello all! My name is Emery Headen-Sharpe and I am a new 4th grade teacher here at Rankin Elementary. I am a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and retained my teaching degree from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. I have had the opportunity to travel outside of the United States. I have traveled to Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Spain. I love creative arts such as music, art, poetry, and dance. I am a North Carolina native and I love teaching children. 

    Welcome to Mr. Sharpe's 4th grade class! I am looking forward to teaching your wonderful children for this 2018-2019 school year.  Our theme this year is Super heroes. We will venture out on an everyday mission to achieve our goals and academic success needs. I believe in children doing their very best in all things. We hope to achieve this year, academic success in all of our school subjects and growth in character building. Like a hero, students will be challenged and trained on how to take on different tasks in Math, ELA, Science and Social Studies.
