Hello!  Welcome to my webpage! I will be the other teacher in Ms. White's Adaptive Curriculum class this year.  This is my 4th year at The Hairston Middle School.  This is my 13th year with Guilford County Schools. I am passionate about working with these children.  It brings me great pleasure to watch them grow and to be a part of their learning process.  Having grown up around children and adults with disabilities, having several family members with special needs, and loved ones who have dedicated their lives as caregivers and educators, I came into this field honestly and with great compassion for this population.

I was born in California and moved to WA State to pursue different avenues.  I grew up living near Disneyland, and as a younger person, I enjoyed many trips there.  Also, I grew up near the west coast beaches.  I frequented them quite often growing up.  After leaving California, I moved to WA State, then to North Carolina about 13 years ago.  I am married with one daughter, who is currently going to school full time in WA State.  I'm currently a student at GTCC taking various classes to enhance my education.  I enjoy riding our 3 wheeler trike, watching a good movie, and bargain shopping! Our family has traveled along the east coast beaches and even took a camping trip on our trike! We enjoy spending time with our dog, Caesar.
