Tina Lipstreu

My name is Tina Lipstreu and I am the Curriculum Facilitator at Florence Elementary.  I have the privilege of serving as the Florence`s Curriculum Facilitator for the past eight years. Prior to serving as the CF at Florence Elementary, I taught fourth and fifth grade at Pleasant Garden Elementary in Guilford County for 10 years.  I attended Greensboro College where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education as well as mu Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Elementary Mathematics.  I am also a Nationally board Certified teacher and serve as an adjunct professor at Greensboro College.  

My role as a Curriculum Facilitator includes working with teachers and administration yo implement a coherent curriculum aligned with state and national standards to ensure success of all teachers and students at Florence Elementary.  I also work closely with district personnel through collaboration and professional development to research and implement the best teaching practices in the classroom.  The best part of my job though, is working with our GREAT students and families. My passion is truly to help support all students, teachers and families at Florence!  I am fortunate to watch our amazing students grow, learn and develop year after year to become successful cowboys and cowgirls ready to soar!  Creating a school that is a GREAT place to work, grow and learn is why I walk through the doors each and every day!
